Using an External IDE or Text Editor

This section covers using an external IDE or text editor to edit your script.

You can edit your script in an external application if you prefer. In order to update changes made in an external application, click on the script editor window, which will present message asking if you would like to reload the script on file, and confirm the changes by clicking Yes on the Script Changes Detected! dialogue that appears.
